(1907-1978), until sold in July 1954 to F.A. Drey, for £750. with Agnew's, London, by 1955, when acquired by. Sir Marcus Worsley, 5th Bt., J.P., D.L. (1925-2012) of Hovingham Hall, purchased with funds from the sale of the Hovingham Giambologna, Samson Slaying the Philistine, to the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1954, and by descent to the present owner.
